followers

to those who chose to 'follow'      I thank you :)

as you see i have chosen to go 'follower free'

if you click the picture it'll take you to the creator & her reasoning

i enjoyed her post & understand.

here being free is about my children, for my children

for reasons I cannot explain they have been concerned with that number

as of today it is no longer a distraction for them

Galatians 3:3, 5:1
After beginning with the Spirit, are you now trying to attain your goal by human effort?
It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.

for my children's freedom and all to His glory :)

  1. Amen my dear sister. As you know, I follow you... I know how to find you! ;>
I understand and really enjoyed what she said in her post about being free from having followers.
Funny thing, this reminds me of dog training (OK, a LOT reminds me of dog training right now) in that we are to set the dog up for success by not tempting them with situations that bring about their anxiety, misbehavior, whatever. Basically getting rid of the distractions that cause the dog to veer off of the right track. Eventually the dog is so used to always being on the right track that they will be less tempted to go wayward when the temptations are inevitable.

We are a lot like dogs. :)

Thank you for being brave enough to remove a pleasant distraction. It is just one more way you are such a great example for me.

    I love you,
    Kara
