precisely

on Monday she gave thanks for: a heart that is heavy and full of hope....
i commented:  hmmm. there's an echo there.

on Tuesday i was talking with a sister eternal trying to expound on my echo:
it is a burden, a good burden.
like a pregnancy - there's expectancy, anticipation.
yet it weighs.
there is potential for sadness; a sadness that would carry to the edge of despair.
potential for condemnation, condemnation that would bury.
however, there is hope.
a heart full of hope
having in it all there is space for, brimming with Hope.
really there is no room for sadness or condemnation.

i ask her if any of this makes sense.
she responds, "yes. it's all about focus."
wow.
precisely.

i realize if i focus on me, my feelings in response to this heavy heart,
things can quickly go amiss.
when i focus on Him, it changes everything.
