Multitude Monday

Sing to the LORD a new song; sing to the LORD, all the earth. Sing to the LORD, praise his name; proclaim his salvation day after day. Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds among all peoples.
For great is the LORD and most worthy of praise; he is to be feared above all gods. For all the gods of the nations are idols, but the LORD made the heavens. Splendor and majesty are before him; strength and glory are in his sanctuary. Ascribe to the LORD, O families of nations, ascribe to the LORD glory and strength. Ascribe to the LORD the glory due his name; bring an offering and come into his courts. Worship the LORD in the splendor of his holiness; tremble before him, all the earth. Psalm 96:1-9

freedom and its joy
the way He loves me in the details
dancing with delight
the memorial stone that serves first to honor my King and
second as a reminder of the path He lifted me from, so i shall not trepass there again

the way that i am loved (again and again)

the artwork of our children
that i enjoy and value it every bit as much as that gracing the walls of every wonderful place you can think of

the way He humbles me
as just five minutes ago i was thinking 'poor dear' and
whispering a prayer for His peace and strength for her
and now five minutes later
i cry out to my Father, on my own behalf as i am the 'poor dear'

birthday celebrations of ten-year-old girls
homemade birthday banners

her carnival/pig theme                          that our girl-love was invited to assist

the birthday of an eternal sister celebrated across the miles
knowing that we have eternity to celebrate :]

an aunt who takes time to fly to FL for a visit with her favorite niece and nephew
her gift of Bananagrams and Go Nutz

the opportunity to celebrate the way He loves my friends in the details (and then some)

the glasses from Summit that make him Mr. Intiative so he can clearly see what needs to be done & do it :)

our children sharing with us what they learned
(Nehemiah was a man who saw what needed to be done and did it)
asking them: how is this lesson (His Word) changing your life? how are you going to live this out?

the seeds they planted that represent the fact that when it comes to initiative "God allows us to be a part of His process"
that pastor's delivery of His Word stirred my heart as it stirred the heart of my love
that we two are one
trust in our Father and hope in our God

celebrating friends loving a baby girl 'now'
with no worries for tomorrow
all because they too
trust in our Father and hope in our God

thankful for the opportunity to join with Ann in the counting

  1. Love you! Love your list!

    authentic community

the memorial stone that serves first to honor my King and second as a reminder of the path He lifted me from, so i shall not trepass there again

There's something about children's art - something authentic, beautiful. I think it's a picture of freedom. Great job girl-love and boy-love! You inspire me!

Birthday parties! Looks like they had a blast!

loving the baby girl now - it's so sweet to watch loving fearlessly being lived out!

that you and your love are bonded more closely through a pastor's words. Love it when the Holy Spirit does that!

  2. Awesome list my dear.

That's some beautiful stuff.... that art. I think maybe kids creating is second only to God's.

I love the glasses. My heart smiles at the sight!

Our girl is getting so big. sigh. I want to hold her, while she'll still let me.....

  3. Sing to the LORD a new song...

This is my heart cry for a new month, that I will see and praise Him even though I sit unable to understand.
