Multitude Monday

Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. He chose to give us birth through the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of all he created (James 1:17-18)

the gifts 539-

i am thankfful for the way He loves

that i am His daughter (for adoption)
“I will be a Father to you, and you will be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.”  2 Corinthians 6:18
In bringing many sons and daughters to glory, it was fitting that God, for whom and through whom everything exists, should make the pioneer of their salvation perfect through what he suffered. Hebrews 2:10

that i am His friend
Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. You are my friends if you do what I command. I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you. John 15:13-15

that i am His bride
Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready. Revelation 19:7
The bride belongs to the bridegroom. The friend who attends the bridegroom waits and listens for him, and is full of joy when he hears the bridegroom’s voice. That joy is mine, and it is now complete. John 3:29
I am jealous for you with a godly jealousy. I promised you to one husband, to Christ, so that I might present you as a pure virgin to him. 2 Corinthians 11:2

and thinking of the fine linen the bride is wearing

i am thankful for whispered prayers

that He lives in us and through us and because of that
someone treasures me the way i treasure them

for prayers uniting in spirit
that where or two or more are gathered there is He in our midst
that geography does not limit the togetherness of spirits

for this quote:
I want the moments enough to let go of the mirages. I want the now, the space that doesn’t hurry, and joy’s the only next thing. I want here with it’s doing because that means living; I don’t need to get there, with it’s getting it all done — because that’s only when it’s all over and you die.

and this, which it echoes:
now

i am thankful for the counting
Ann's (who gave this a name)
Kara's (who invited me to join)
my own (praise Him)
and
yours (as i share in your blessings)

holy experience

  2. Beautiful list dear sister. A blessing in the rush of my day. I, too, loved Ann's words about living in the moment!

Counting your blessings along with my own,
