forever grateful, forever counting His gifts #881-893
rain
the pitter-pat, the downpour
boom of thunder, roll of thunder
drops dripping off the roof into the rain gutter
and sunshine and
the swimming pool just out the back door
folding laundry in the washroom and listening
hearing boy love sing as he washes hands
and in another room girl love sings while sweeping
knowing i am hearing His shouts and His whispers of love all around
that she calls to share all of life with me, living eternity now
that she calls inviting me to celebrate, live wholly, holy living
thinking on this:
mosaics of Grace
((i found this tucked away in the drafts :))
How fun, Hidden Gratitude! It's like doublemint gum, twice the fun!
ReplyDeleteCatching up on your lists and oh how rich they are, sister! I love that some of the best things are hidden and forgotten until just the right time so we can see Him meet us exactly where we are at.
ReplyDeleteOne word comes to mind with this list: refreshing. Refreshing rain, refreshing water, refreshing sunshine, scents and sounds, refreshing words and questions, refreshing Grace!
Love you!
kim
This is such a beautiful and Divine list! I love the word pictures you paint!
ReplyDeleteHave a blessed week,

ReplyDeleteknowing i am hearing His shouts and His whispers of love all around
Oh Yes, we DO here His shouts and whispers of love all around!!! In the song of a bird, a child and sometimes even in silence. What a wonderful observation. I am glad you pulled this draft out and added it.
I love you so much!
