w, a, and e

i was thinking, as i so often do, when i realized that i have nearly always lived on a street with a 'w'

in the fall of my second year i moved to gailWood circle. in the spring of my twenty-third year i moved to haWkes island drive. in 2005 i moved to Wakeview and three years ago i landed on WhiteWater way.

we were driving along to church, discussing the fact that one day we'll move again. maybe next year. maybe not. only God knows, and we trust Him.
it was here that i announced that the next street must have a 'w'

there were question marks all around. i explained to their interested, smiling faces.
our children quickly realized that, of course, they too had always lived at an address with a 'w'
my I do began running through all the names of his streets. 'w' stops for him at our first shared address, he came up with 'a' and 'e'
my wheels were turning as i ran back through mine, announcing I also have 'a'

so, girl love decidedly announced our next street has to have: w, a, and an e

it hit me. w, a, e. e, a, w. e, w, a. a, w, e. AWE, every street we've lived on together has been filled with a sense of awe (an overwhelming feeling of reverence, admiration, fear, etc., produced by that which is grand, sublime, extremely powerful, or the like;  A feeling of reverential respect mixed with fear or wonder). We stand in awe of Him; as He moves us from here to there - as He wills.

it doesn't really matter if there's a 'w' or an 'a' or an 'e' - - ((still, i'm not denying it'll be in the back of my mind)) - - what matters is that wherever and whenever we remain in awe of Him; That every address is met with gratitude, reverence, respect, fear, and wonder for our Father God
