Multitude Monday

Give thanks to the LORD, call on his name;
   make known among the nations what he has done.
Sing to him, sing praise to him;
   tell of all his wonderful acts.   1 Chronicles 16:7-8

465-480

the 'sweetening' He's gifted
longing, delight, and joy

hearing girl-love-niece singing in the back ground
boy-love-nephew to his mama: they're not blood related, why are they our cousins again?
girl-love-niece: they are family.
and the rest of that conversation :}

hearing nine-year-old-girl-love say to seven-year-old-boy-love, "back in my day..."

boy love singing:
Do-Re-Mi
Doe- a deer, a female deer
Ray- a drop of golden sun
Me- a name i call myself...

sunset and
a cool breeze

the way that i am loved

Jesus reminding me of first things in Matthew 6:33
   But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness...

Sacred echoes
heard in pastor's words:
- if a leader refuses to sacrifice that leader begins to sacrifice the right to lead
- a leader anticipates the future but not at the expense of today; the precedent is always: how do i best love now?
read in The Ministry of Motherhood:
As I seek to teach my children all the Biblical truths they will need to be equipped for life and also try to model for them a life of faith, eternal truth must always be the foundation of their understanding. If they can keep eternity before their eyes, they will be able to live in hope no matter what happens in this life. And rest assured, something always happens! Happiness, after all, is elusive in this life. It's a sure thing that people our children love will die. All the material things they own will disintegrate. All the status they achieve will pass away. But Christ and His kingdom will never pass away... Sally Clarkson

remembering simplicity
the candle still flickering beside verses of peace

  5. Love the 'back-in-my-day' line 'cause my older children would always use it on thier baby sister whenever she complained about having to set the table.
