that He has blessed me with eternal sisters
who love me, because He loved first
who walk with me
who pray with me
who fast with me
who love Him passionately
my eternal sisters

hearing girl love say, "doesn't the rain smell wonderful?!"
at the very same time boy love is singing his own version,
"it's raining, it's pouring, everyone is snoring!"

being reminded that waiting on the Lord is not passive

knowing that i bring nothing to the table
acknowledging that i fall short. but
oh, His grace. His amazing Grace!

Fill your present sphere to his praise, and if he needs you in another he will show it you. This evening lay aside vexatious ambition, and embrace peaceful content.
